Do you have to have illustration in tarot

So I want to start tarot but I can’t really find a deck that I’m drawn to that is affordable and beginner friendly. I want to make my own but because I’m lazy and I’m not bothered to draw. I’m not sure if tarot cards can just be text and no illustration or does it have to.

I’m planning on doing some drawing but it’ll be very simple e.g ace of swords I’ll just draw one sword.
