How to interpret a deck with only 40 cards?
I bought a tarot deck/tea set that I saw when I was waiting in the checkout line. When I opened it I realized that it looks like a knock-off of the Trippin Waite Deck but it only has 40 cards (this is intentional, I double checked)
The deck only has major arcana, all pentacles, and then the royal family? face cards? of swords
I’m pretty new to tarot so I usually try to interpret the suits by the elements to help me along, so I’m just wondering how to best adapt the way that I think about cards to fit only 40. Will I be missing out on a lot without having the other suits?
