I was really gifted or was just coincidence?

When I was a kid I bought poker cards with beautiful drawings on the front. But I used them for "card reading" instead of playing poker.

One day some kids of my school saw me doing a "reading" to one of my friends and ask me to do one to them as well.

A week later they came back and ask me to do a reading again, because it turned out happening what I have told them.

Then every single day on the school people begin to line up for readings and I have to stopped, because I couldn't enjoy my lunch and it wasn't fun anymore.

I put the cards in the trash and stop doing readings.

I was really good or was just those kids pulling a joke on me?
