Let’s talk about the 3 of Cups as a “third party” card

The first time I ever heard the 3 of Cups as the “third party” card, aka there’s an unwelcome third party in your twosome, was on TikTok.

Everyone is entitled to their own interpretation of the cards. This one just doesn’t resonate with me. But I’m curious if there’s something I’m missing.

Do you ever read this joyous and celebratory card as a warning? Maybe not even related to affairs and cheating. It’s definitely possible to have too much of a good time.

If so, why is that? If not, why not?
