My boyfriend wants me to give up tarot..

Okay, the title sounds bad but honestly I feel like I'm stuck a rock and a hard place. Tarot came into my life when I was in need of guidance and I've been learning to use them ever since.

My boyfriend is very Christian and when I moved in with him I knew I wouldn't be able to use them as often. Respectfully, I stop using them when he was around and put them away. I asked him if it would ever be okay for me to continue.

He thought about it for a few days and when he was ready to give me an answer, I was really disappointed and a little hurt he said "no". I asked why and he didn't really give me a reason, instead he asked why I wanted to continue using them. I told him I look to them for guidance and its really tough in our lives right now and I want to know if we're headed in the right direction.

He told me that he thought I was starting to become a Christian and because of that, I should look to the Bible for guidance instead.

I really don't want to give up my practice. I've spent a lot of time trying to learn it to the best of my ability. Any advice?

Edit: My boyfriend seems more afraid of the cards if anything. He believes his family was cursed by his grandmother who was a tarot user.
