Shuffled the deck like new

I recently reshuffled my deck sorting the major arcana based on chronological order and then each suit from Ace to King. It was like the energy of my deck was renewed and I gained a bit more insight and understanding on how to read tarot, and a block I was having on a reading I did before hand and I suddenly understood its meaning. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
