Talking to your deck : do you do this ?

When I start to shuffle, I always say "hello there" or something along these lines. When I put it back in its box I always say "thank you". I don't believe the cards are "alive" or that they're communicating with "entities", but it just feels so natural and I feel weird if I don't say anything. It's basic courtesy !

Does anyone does this ? I'm just curious !
