Tarot cards as types of magick or abilities in witchcraft

I was looking into what cards could mean certain types of magick. I can’t seem to find many resources online. I’ve tried analysing what it would mean to me. For example, Two of Swords could mean crossroads magick or protection spells. Two of Cups could be a love spell (love potion), telepathy, or empathy. Death card could be a new moon ritual that helps you let go. Has anyone tried this kind of reading before?
