The Universe is Weird

I have been unhappy at my job for awhile, and have been actively looking for employment elsewhere. I got a call for a job offer- one that I had been trying to manifest. I accepted it right away.

It was slow this afternoon, so I had pulled out my Light Seer's deck and was just going to shuffle it for shits and giggles.

I hadn't even formed a question before the 8 of pentacles popped out and fell to the ground, basically sideways to my vision.

(craftsmanship, soul purpose, mastery; inverse: burning out or giving up. I take this as new job vs. current job)

I checked the shadow card- 5 of swords. (conflict, fear of failure, needing to bolster your confidence)

I pulled the top card- The Emperor.

(taking action, building your own success)

At this point, it was like destiny decided to just yell at me to get out and get started on my resignation letter.

Right at the end of the day, the general manager comes to me and hands me a termination without cause letter. I'm at the bottom of the totem pole, and it's sales. No one has done well this quarter, but I 've been doing outright terrible. I lost my father in January and it has affected my mental health and my work ethic, especially since my requests for a reduced workload so I could focus on my mental health were never considered, and I stopped putting in extra time because I wasn't getting paid for it.

I went to properly pack up my tarot cards because they slid out of their wrap in my purse. I felt called to pull the next card from the top of the deck, as I hadn't really disturbed them much, and it's The Star. (new opportunities, renewed hope, being on the right path)

It's so weird how the universe can just have the cards say "Do you need more proof? Do you need us to spell crap out for you? Here's your sign, dummy."

Does anyone else get messages like this when they do unfocused or random readings??
