Tips for a beginner?

I got into tarot a few months ago. It started with a reading my good friend had given me. I never had a reading before but had been offered, and I always turned it down. When she offered, I was really lost and looking to anything for guidance. And said yes with an open mind and 0 knowledge on tarot. Long story short it was so accurate it shook me to my core. And so were the next 2 readings I had gotten after that. I eventually got into it myself. Could anyone leave some helpful tips, any tips. On spreads, best times to do readings, combos of specific cards together. I'm sure everyone would benefit.
