who here has been told by a tarot reader that they’re cursed?

I'd like to know how common this is, or if it was a ploy to sell me a curse-removal? The thing is, she didn't try to say she could remove it, at all. She just said, "you are cursed to never be happy, I don't see you happy" and I asked her to expand and she just shrugged and that was it. It was about 15 years ago now, and, sadly, I have had some really tough circumstances since then. I know every life has ups and downs, and I'm not trying to say I think it's true because I don't want it to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I genuinely try my best. I just really have wondered if this is a common thing, or how many people have been told this? Thanks.
